Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year. Good management, tenacity, flexibility, sharing, honesty and a lot of luck will help us all survive the future economic challenges. Take some time out with your family and rebuild some energy. Best wishes.

A saying common down here on the Georgia Coast is that when you are up to your neck in alligators,it is hard to remember that you came to drain the marsh. It may be a little more difficult to have a Merry Christmas this year, but the New Year may be surprisingly Happy for those that hang on. New and quality pre-owned boats are getting scarce. (I know because I have been looking.) Boaters still seem to want to boat, and somebody is going to sell some.

Echoing Ben, my very best wishes to all of you.

Thank you for wishing me a Merry Christmas. In this day of runaway political correctness it is refreshing to see another person who does not believe that wishing someone “Merry Christmas” is offensive. I never say Happy Holidays to anyone. To me it’s Christmas. If someone is Jewish, they should wish me Happy Hanukkah. I would appreciate it, not be offended by it. Same goes for any other faith or non faith. We should not be afraid to be who we are.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Yours!
